Eau de Parfum
Éclat is a signature eau de parfum created for a boutique fragrance house based in Paris. The brief was clear: design a modern fragrance identity that feels intimate, deliberate, and sensual — without falling into the clichés of “luxury for luxury’s sake.”
Our role covered naming, visual identity, packaging design, product storytelling, and launch assets.
THE FRAGRANCE
Warm skin. Clean fabric. A trace of light. Éclat is built around three notes:
Top note: Italian bergamot. Clean, almost transparent, with a citrus tension that lifts the first seconds of the scent.
- Heart: Neroli and white tea. Soft, luminous, with a floral bitterness that keeps it from becoming sweet.
- Base: Cashmere wood and ambrette seed. Subtle warmth, almost like skin after sun. Quiet, addictive.
- The intention was not to shout. Éclat doesn’t “enter a room before you.” It stays close, evolves slowly, and feels personal — like something that belongs to you, not something you wear for other people.
We translated this attitude visually.

Strategy & Positioning
A fragrance that refuses noise.
The brand positioning we built around Éclat is “quiet intimacy.” No gold script. No baroque flourishes. No overpromising. Instead: restraint, clarity, sensual minimalism.
We defined three pillars for the identity:
- Intimacy — It’s meant to be worn close to the skin, not sprayed in excess.
- Honesty — Short, direct language. Clear ingredients. No invented mythology.
- Persistence — The scent is subtle but long-lasting. We wanted the visuals to behave the same way: calm at first glance, memorable later.
These pillars drove every decision, from typography to copy tone to box finish.
What we produced for this launch:
- Naming and positioning
- Logo and typographic system
- Full packaging system (bottle label, cap spec, outer box, insert)
- Color palette and art direction guidelines
- Product storytelling / micro-copy
- Product photography direction for campaign and e-commerce
- Social launch assets (teaser stills, motion snippets, product close-ups)
Outcome
A perfume that looks like it smells.
Éclat now exists as a complete object: formula, bottle, voice, world.
The identity system is intentionally quiet, which is exactly why it stands out. On a crowded shelf of shouty metallic gradients and heavy gloss varnish, Éclat feels calm, breathable, confident.
That contrast is the brand.
