I’d been putting off my portfolio for years because every theme felt either generic or overdesigned. With Velvet, I just dropped my projects in and it instantly looked like a considered editorial object. It’s the first time my website really matches the way I present my work in print.

We needed something bold enough for motion and 3D, but minimal enough to stay out of the way. The three portfolio views in Velvet let us show reels, stills and process without breaking the visual language. It feels like a custom build, but runs on simple WordPress.

Velvet finally gave us a WordPress site that looks like something we would actually design for a client. The dark, Swiss-style layout feels strict, confident and very close to our own aesthetic. We didn’t touch any code, just focused on curating the work.
